Quick start guide
Making a call
Just dial the number on your mobile phone keypad and press send.
If your mobile phone supports voice-activated dialing, you can voice-dial
directly from the speakerphone.
Answering and ending a call
Just press and release once on the SP500, or use the answer and end but-
tons on your mobile. You can also answer a call from your mobile phone and
then transfer to the speakerphone by pressing and releasing once (subject to
phone type).
Muting a call
To mute, press mute button for one second until the yellow light comes on.
To disable mute, press the button quickly again.
Basic functions
Pairing the Jabra SP500 to a Bluetooth mobile phone
1. Fully charge the Jabra SP500 with a travel or car charger
2. Switch on the SP500 by holding down the multi-function button ,
until you hear the startup melody
3. To put the SP500 in pairing mode, press and hold down the pairing button
, until you see the solid blue light
4. Set your mobile phone to ‘discover a Bluetooth device’ (see your phone user guide)
5. Press Yes or OK when asked if you want to pair the phone with the Jabra SP500
6. Enter passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros), then press Yes or OK
7. Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete
8. Start enjoying life hands-free!
